✨ Introduction:
Over time, some contacts may become outdated, duplicated, or irrelevant to your business. Webware CRM allows you to easily delete contacts you no longer need, helping you maintain an organized and streamlined customer database.
🔔 What to Know Before You Start:
You’ll need CRM permissions to delete contacts (ie Admin or TeamAdmin).
Deleting a contact is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting a contact will automatically remove them from any lists they were part of.
Deleting a contact will not remove any past orders or conversation history related to that contact — only their contact profile will be deleted.
🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to Delete a Contact
Log in to your Webware Dashboard.
Navigate to the CRM section from the main menu.
In the Contacts tab, search for or locate the contact you want to delete using the search bar (search by name, email, or phone number).
Click the three dots (more options) icon next to the contact’s name.
Select “Delete” from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
✅ Pro Tip:
Before deleting, consider exporting your contact list periodically to keep a backup of your full database, including inactive or outdated contacts.
🎯 Next Steps:
After deleting contacts, you may want to:
Review your lists to remove any that are now empty.
Search for duplicate or incomplete contacts to keep your data clean.
Review the New Leads or Hot List sections to make sure key leads aren’t accidentally deleted.
