📌 Note: The Scan Business Card feature is only available on the Webware mobile app as it requires a smart device camera. This feature is not accessible on desktop.
🔔 What to Know Before You Start:
The business card scanning feature is available exclusively on the Webware mobile app.
Ensure your device camera is enabled and has access to the app.
The business card should be well-lit and clearly visible for accurate data capture.
You can edit extracted details before saving the contact.

🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to Upload a Contact by Scanning a Business Card
Open the Webware Mobile App:
Log in to the Webware app on your phone or tablet.
Navigate to the Dashboard.
Access the Quick Action Menu:
Tap the Quick Action button.
Select “Add a New Contact”.
Select "Scan a Business Card":
On the New Customer page, tap “Scan a Business Card”.
Capture the Business Card:
Align the business card within the camera frame and take a clear photo.
Webware’s AI will automatically extract the details from the image.
Review & Edit the Contact Information:
Ensure the extracted name, email, phone number, and company details are correct.
Manually update any incorrect fields if necessary.
Assign the Contact to a List:
Choose an existing contact list or create a new one.
Toggle “Subscribed to Marketing Emails” if you want the contact to receive emails.
Save the Contact:
Tap Save to add the contact to your CRM.
The new contact will now appear in your CRM for easy access.
