Introduction:

The Hottest Customer List helps you identify and track leads who are actively engaging with your website. It provides insights into which pages they visited, how many times they returned, and their interaction history. By using this feature, you can prioritize follow-ups with leads who are most likely to convert into customers.

The Hot List is automatically generated based on user activity, giving you real-time insights into potential customers who are showing interest in your business.


🔔 What to Know Before You Start:

  • You’ll need Admin or TeamAdmin permissions to access the Hot List.

  • The Hot List updates dynamically based on recent website activity (visits, page views, time spent on pages).

  • Each lead’s engagement score is displayed as a numerical value next to their name, showing how many interactions they’ve had.

  • Clicking on a contact in the Hot List will take you to their Contact Card, where you can see a detailed breakdown of their activity.


🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to View the Hottest Customer List

  1. Log in to your Webware Dashboard.

  2. Click on Dashboard from the side navigation menu.

  3. Locate the Hottest Customer List section.

  4. Use the timeframe filter at the top to adjust the period you want to analyze (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days, etc.).

  5. The list will display:

    • Contact names or email addresses.

    • Their engagement score (total interactions).

    • The pages they visited and how much time they spent on each.

  6. Click on a customer’s name to open their Contact Card for more details.


How to Manage the Hot List

🔹 Reviewing Detailed Activity for a Lead

  1. Click on a lead from the Hot List to open their Contact Card.

  2. Scroll to the Activity section to see:

    • The pages they visited, with timestamps.

    • Their first and last visit dates under Web Analytics History.

    • Total site visits and pages viewed under Website Activity.

  3. Use this data to gauge their interest level and personalize your outreach.


🔹 Adding a Contact to a List for Future Follow-Up

  1. While in the Contact Card, click Add to List.

  2. Choose an existing list or create a new list (e.g., "High-Interest Leads").

  3. This helps you segment hot leads for targeted follow-ups.


🔹 Taking Action on Hot Leads

  • Send an Email: Click the email icon in the Contact Card to reach out immediately.

  • Make a Call: Use Webware Phone to follow up with an interested lead.

  • Assign a Task: Create a task for yourself or your team to follow up on the lead.


Pro Tip:

Prioritize leads with higher engagement scores and those who visited key pages like pricing, contact, or service pages—these are strong buying signals.
