✨ Introduction:

Webware’s Website Chat lets you add a chat widget directly to your website, allowing visitors to ask questions and get assistance while browsing your site. Once enabled, incoming chats will automatically appear in the Conversations section of your Webware Dashboard, where you can respond and manage them.


🔔 What to Know Before You Start:

  • Website Chat is available to all Webware customers.

  • Once enabled, the chat widget will appear on your website for visitors to use.

  • Visitors can leave messages even when you’re offline — you’ll see these messages in your Conversations > Chat section.

  • You can turn the chat on or off at any time from your Chat Settings.


🛠️ Step-by-Step: How to Turn On Website Chat

  1. Log in to your Webware Dashboard.

  2. From the left-hand navigation, click Conversations.

  3. Under Conversations, click Chat.

  4. In the Chat section, click the Settings button in the top-right corner.

  5. In Conversation Settings, scroll to Show Chat Widget.

  6. Toggle Show Chat Widget to ON.

  7. Click Save.

The Website Chat is now live on your website!


✅ Pro Tip:

Even if the Website Chat is off, visitors can still use your Contact Form to get in touch — so make sure your contact page is up to date.
